Sales Support Analyst
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Sales Support Analyst is responsible for the preparation and support of pre-sale events. This role includes participation in marketing and business related events, presentations and exhibitions in order to enable new sales of products and services and the acquisition new customers and business partners for the company.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Make live demonstrations of the products functional capabilities and product interfaces
- Develop, prepare and maintain all relevant presentation materials
- Provide consultancy to customers and business partners on EFT-related applications
- Raise suggestions for the improvement and functionality extension of company's product and services portfolio based market developments, competitor activities and customer requirements.
- Participate in topical regional and international exhibitions and other marketing activities
- Continue to extend industry and market knowledge to include current products and the available technologies in the retail banking and electronic payments sector
- Work as an expert in the products and solutions offered by the company
- Maintain knowledge database
- Conduct scoping studies within the framework of pre-sales activity
- Perform duties pertaining to raining Instructors and Business Analysts, when necessary
- Assist in the project implementation process when necessary
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE (Minimum Requirements Needed):
- Economics/finance/marketing/business related degree
- Strong knowledge of the EFT and retail banking industry
- Experience in building and managing consultancy/pre-sales teams
- Knowledge of IT, computer science or engineering

- Review customer business requirements, prepare commercial proposals,proposal presentations and RFP responses for existing and potential customers
- Provide support to the Sales Manager in conducting sales of products and services, to include:
- initiating and managing requisite pre-sales activities
- preparing the requisite sets of contractual documents and obtaining approval
- implementing other company sales-related procedures
- Assist the Sales Manager in managing customer relationships within theregion, to include:
- monitoring customer business development
- maintaining personal relationships with key customer personnel
- conducting regular meetings with key customer employees
- keeping customers informed of product innovations
- promoting new solutions, products and services developed by the company and/or its partners

This is a Business Development & Sales position. Working with the Relationship Management Team, the successful candidate is expected to develop new business with existing customers with regards to software product licensing, professional services, processing services and third party products and services sales. The Account Manager will work closely with designated customers to include banks, processing centers and service bureaus, etc. This role involves extensive travel.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Establish and enhance relationships between the company and its existing customers
- Be accountable for the day-to-day management of customers
- Develop new business from existing customers (the customisation of existing systems, professional services and selling new systems):
- Define customer business requirements
- Prepare feasibility studies and proposals, pursue and close sales
- Achieve and maintain the agreed service levels for existing customers on both technical and business matters
- Establish and manage a long-term contractual relationship with the selected client base
- Provide an development path for the client
- Support the preparation of contractual documentation
- Deliver product and solution presentations to existing customers and business partners
- Participate in product, customer and country based research projects
- Integrate with the Sales Team
- Co-ordinate with the Marketing Division
